Vive le vent, vive le vent, vive le vent d’hiver! The festive season is finally here. In the blink of an eye, it comes and equally fast it goes. It is a time of gatherings and celebrations with near and dear ones, good food and long nights. But also the season of the year that comes with the most drastic outfit changes. From wearing cosy knits and warm socks, to wearing your most stand-out outfits, winter serves some great looks. Our collection reflects this style disparity, with versatile pieces to be worn over and over again during the cold months ahead of us.
Here is what we have in our hood. To start with, a Little Black Dress, because what would a winter collection be without one? With a hint of shimmer, it is the going out style by definition, that will also keep you warm with its heavy knit fabric. For a more formal look, we made an edgy powder blue dress in our signature silky fabric, perfect for dinners and drinks. For a more casual look, we created a loungewear set made from the softest, coziest knit, for the winter evenings huddled up by the fireplace. Last but not least, an irrefutably versatile jacket in melton wool, for enjoying crisp winter air.
The colors are inspired by our Scandinavian roots and the dreamy winter wonderland of the Nordics during this time of the year. A quite magnificent landscape of icy lakes, bare trees, dark skies, mountains shrouded in snow and a poetic glimmer from the sun reflecting on the entirely white scenery. Each breath you take condenses into ice. It is the time of the year when your inner warmth comes out, quite literally, but also figuratively speaking. More than any time of the year, it is the time to give. Give your time and give kindness to the people you love and to strangers, the world needs more positivity. It is also time for new goals, new hopes (and new outfits) in prospect of the year ahead of us. For an instant, feel the time freeze and take it all in.
